tour de france 2002
If you are planning a trip to watch the tour de france 2002 then why not stay with us in the beautiful and unspoilt village of Vaujany in the French Alps. Vaujany is the neighbouring village to Alpe d'Huez and so is a very convenient base from which to watch the famous stage to L'Alpe d'Huez, a real highlight of the whole tour. Vaujany is also near to several important cols such as the Glandon and Croix de Fer, the Lautaret and the Galibier.

We have been offering sports and activity holidays in the traditional French mountain village of Vaujany for many years. The village facilities include a modern swimming pool and sports complex, a tennis club with six hard courts, a cable car that rises to 3,300m, a spacious day nursery and a children's activity club.

As well as watching the tour de france 2002, a wide range of other sports and activities are available in the area including walking, white water rafting, canoeing, parapenting, mountain biking, cycling and mountaineering.

We have four accommodation options for your tour de france 2002 holiday. Chalet Saskia is a luxury-catered chalet with 10 bedrooms (can be booked room by room), wonderful views and very good food and wine. The Rissiou is a 2 star French country hotel in the centre of the town and close to all amenities. The very comfortable self-catering La Villette Chalets sleep from 6 -16, and are perfect for those who want that little bit more flexibility. Finally, new this year we also have 10 superb apartments situated in Vaujany itself and collectively called 'La Perle de l'Oisans'.

So, if you are planning on watching the tour de france 2002, why not stay with us in the beautiful village of Vaujany and enjoy one of the most exciting stages of the race in comfort and luxury.
