Dear Skier
We are uniquely fortunate that Earth is the requisite distance from our Sun such that water is neither entirely vapourised nor completely frozen - water is essential for life. It is even more fortunate that the Alps in winter are blessed with copious quantities of that fluffy white material that we love to play with - snow. The past season was exceptional - I hope you enjoyed some great skiing.

Summer

Think space, delicious air, wonderful sunshine and magnificent scenery; lazy days or action packed - do as you please!

This is summer in Vaujany. We have some availability so do give us a call if interested. Chalet Saskia is catered with the full contingent of staff to pamper you and the La Villette Chalets are offered as self-catering with a 'rep' on hand to assist and support.

Winter

This past winter we enjoyed exceptional conditions in Vaujany/Alpe d'Huez throughout the entire season. The early December week was, as usual, delightfully quiet with good skiing, we were privileged to have some of the best snow in the Alps over Christmas and New Year and yet again April came up trumps with some true powder skiing. Take your pick!....and if you already know when you'd like to ski next season please don't hesitate to call us - early season we shall be offering Tuesday 'changeovers' (from 14th December through 11th January) and reverting to Saturdays from 15th January. We are therefore featuring a short week at bargain rates from 11th January -15th January and 11 day breaks 04th January - 15th January and 11th January - 22th January.

Staff news

Vaujany - not only rustic idyll but romantic haven?!

I note with some satisfaction the growing number of Ski Peak staff who, having met in Vaujany, are now producing future skiing/boarding addicts! : Marcus and Rosa who are 'expecting', Marios and Keren who have a baby girl Maya born 14.10.2003, Alison and Shaun with Alfie and Daisy and Corban and Kyla who are getting married this autumn.

Michael Johnson

In March Michael met with a mountaineering accident in New Zealand doing what he loved best - 'tramping the hills'.

He was a valued member of staff over the past few years, his attention to detail was second to none and he contributed many of the best photographs in the winter brochure. We will all miss him.

Marcus and the team - New restaurant

Brian Hodge, an erstwhile Ski Peak devotee, has just opened a new restaurant - Morello - in a small friendly Kent village.

Marcus has designed the menus and put together a first class team from Vaujany offering the finest cuisine on a 'set menu' basis at extremely affordable prices.

If you live anywhere in the 'south-east' give yourself a treat - eat at Morello.
